is it over stuffed or something else? Overall it's a decent pillow, but it doesn't feel like it is only feathers. It's much harder than feather pillows I had in the past. I do get an okay night sleep but it could be better. It's just a lot more compact and hard than I expected. It mostly stays cool which is a great plus. I'm tempted to open it up and see what's actually inside it.. there are definitely feathers in there but I think something else is in there as well. Overall not bad but I was looking for something softer and I'm a little worried that this will harden more over time, as all synthetic pillows do. Sometimes in the middle of night I just have to switch pillows because it gives me a bit of a neck ache because I can't sink into it like a real feather pillow. Perhaps it's just over stuffed.I'm not a rich person, but the one luxury I afford myself are good down pillows. I was really worried about buying these based on the huge selection Amazon has. 2 hours of reading review after review on countless down pillows, I finally settled on these. I wasn't disappointed. The pillows arrived quickly and were wrapped tightly in plastic. The minute I got them out they puffed right up and were super soft and fluffy. I tried them out that very night and had a wonderful nights sleep. There was no smell, not that it would of bothered me, I like the smell of down. I would say they are a medium-fill pillow.They flatten somewhat as you sleep, as feather pillows do, but are easier to arrange to give you the support where you prefer.I’m a great fan of a firm feather pillow, and this one comes in a good second, with a medium weight that still gives support. Two pillows are the perfect thickness for my preferences.These pillows have never gone flat on me. They fluff back up really well. They keep their form well.The material is great…it’s nice and thick, and no feathers have gotten loose since I got it about a month ago.They also look nice, with a nice navy blue piping that makes the pillow appear somewhat “posh”. They fit a standard queen size pillow case for the queen size pillows I ordered.I can easily recommend these great pillows!I have tried so many, many different pillows. These are the first that I've truly liked. They feel like the down pillows I've experienced in hotels. They layer well -- you can stuff a bunch of these behind your back while sitting up in bed, and they will mold around your shoulders while still giving you support in your back. I have a bad neck, and these pillows don't cure it, but unlike others, they don't make it worse. They are the only brand I will be purchasing going forward.Hope this helps.These pillows are great, they arrived in a fairly large box and not vacuum packed like some I've received before, so there's no adjustment period to wait for these to fluff up. The first night I used these relived some of my neck pain resulting from some other medium firmness memory foam pillows that just couldn't line up my neck and head properly. It's been awhile since I've slept on goose down and forgot how warm these get! But the adjustability and conformity are what's best without having to roll up a towel under my neck for support. Excellent pillows and the covers haven't allowed any loose feathers to poke through or escape as an allergen!These are not very fluffy pillows. Since most of the stuffing is feather, you could very subtly feel it. None of the above affect the experience, though. They are comfortable pillows. I found that stacking them up as one was right for me. It gave me the height and support I liked to have. The actual size is 17x25 inches.
